This weekend I give up my car. *sniff*

In 1994, I purchased a Geo Metro. Eight years later, that little car is still uber-reliable, dependable, and has never let me down. My sister Jessica gets to drive it now. Lucky her. :)

I’m the type of person who doesn’t really care what she drives, just as long as it gets me where I want to go. I always meant to drive to Florida in my Geo, but alas, I never quite got up enough courage to do so. Still, it got me this far, and will get my sister even farther. I have no complaints!!

(Actually, if I had my druthers, I’d drive a 1950s Ford or Chevrolet truck painted red or blue. But I’m going to have to ’settle’ for a 2000 chevy S-10. I’m not complaining too loudly, mind you; I get a good stereo and a CD player to boot.)

Anyway, I’m going to be scarce this weekend, so have a nice Easter!

Color Study

I’m doing a non-scientific study.

Email me a list of 15 colors. At the end of the list, tell me what your favorite color is.

When I get 30 participants, I’ll post my findings here.

Argh. I feel better today, at least. And it’s sunny out. Good things! :)

March 27, 2002

Oh, ack.

I knew this would happen eventually. With the weather going nuts, I’ve caught myself a cold. This is my FIRST cold since 1999, I think. And it is not going to be a doozy.

I can always tell when I’m getting sick, because tea doesn’t taste right to me anymore, and that’s saying something (since it’s pretty much all I drink!) I took some DayQuil liquicaps, though, and they have finally kicked in. I’m going to try to make it until 9pm, then head off to bed. Urk.

In other news…

AbNo2 is still going strong. I’m contemplating what to do with it once I’m finished, though; I’m leaning towards trying for an agent, but I’m not sure. It’s certainly good enough, in my not-so-humble opinion. The way things are going (If they keep it up like this, that is,) I should have AbNo 1 & 2 finished, expanded, and edited by the end of April. Hopefully. Then I can get back on the schedule! Again, hopefully.

Anyway, just an update. I’m going to write a bit before I head off to bed. Goodnight.

Work-related news: The Ohio Memory Project is being unveiled today. It’s kind of cool. Go check it out! (I had nothing to do with this personally, but the place I work was one of the sponsers.)

Afternoon/Evening.

Haven’t updated much, have I? Well… for those of you still reading this, I’m going to have a duology, not one huge book. But the plot of the second is different enough from the first for me to be forced to split them up, I think. That means I’m going to have to add some words, probably to both, but I’m going to do that at the end.

I don’t think I’ve ever written the sequel right after the first book. So far, though, it’s going strong.

Life stuff, well… it’s life. What more can I say? This weekend is Easter, and we get to go visit the families (and I get to get rid of my car!) so hopefully everything will work out ok there. We will see.

I’ll try to post later, if I remember. I’m heading down into the dungeon to clean.

Saw Blade 2 tonight. It was better than the first one (I’m very picky about vampires!!) but still a… oh, guy movie. Predictable, too. But not too bad. Chris liked it, but then again he liked the first one too.

Saw the STUPIDEST preview for… Jason 10? What the heck?!? Jason in Space?!?!? What idiot thought this up?!?!?!! I’ve never seen one of those stupid movies, and I certainly don’t intend to see one now. Urgh. That is *so* wrong.

Anyway. Not much else to add right now. I’ll try to write a really long entry tomorrow, perhaps.
